If humanity is going to survive a catastrophic impact then it needs to think about living elsewhere in the solar system. If we could engineer biological systems as easily as we can physical or electronic systems, what would be the first practical applications, and how would we go about doing it?
We are the SynBioSpace Think Tank, a group of researchers who are excited about answering these questions. As we bootstrap our group and brainstorm ideas, we look forward to publishing more information here over the coming weeks.
